Crochet hook:

• 2.75 mm, 1.9 mm (for laces only).

Recommended materials:

• This pattern was tested with 4 different yarns. The prototype is made with Scheepjes Cotton8 (yarn option 2). Yarn options are listed from smallest to biggest garment size. Last paragraph gives yarn usage for each part of the garment separately if you prefer a different color layout. Each yarn is used in following parts of the garment:

YarnA: motif Rnd 1.

YarnB: motif Rnds 2, 4.

YarnC: motif Rnds 3, 6, 7, body main color, edging, laces.

YarnD: motif Rnds 5, 8-10, body flecks.

• Yarn option 1: Scheepjes Whirlette *(60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 100g/ 455m/ 497.6yds) or/and Scheepjes Whirl (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 215g/ 1000m/ 1093.6yds). Makes size 126cm/ 49 5/8''.

Start both block stitch body halves from the middle of Whirl cake for one sleeve cuff to another (cardigan) and from front bottom to back bottom (pullover) color transition.

Size:

• One size fits most. Both, cardigan and sweater are 126cm/ 49 5/8'' made with Scheepjes Whirl/ Whirlette yarn, 132cm/ 52'' made with Cotton 8 or Our Tribe yarn, and 138cm/ 54 3/8'' made with Bamboo Soft yarn or with Cotton 8 and Our Tribe yarn, but with a bigger hook. Over-sized cardigan/ sweater fits best sizes M-2X / 90-120cm/ 35 ½ -47 ¼''.

• Model is size M/ 90cm / 35 ½'' bust, 95cm / 37 3/8'' hips, 168cm / 5' 6'' height and wears size 132cm/ 52'' made with Cotton 8.

Materialen en Benodigdheden:

Dit patroon werd getest met 4 verschillende garens. Het prototype werd gemaakt met Scheepjes Cotton8 (garen optie 2). Garen mogelijkheden staan vermeld van kleinste tot grootste kledingmaat. De laatste paragraaf geeft het garengebruik voor elk deel van het kledingstuk afzonderlijk, indien u de voorkeur geeft aan een andere kleurindeling. Elk garen wordt gebruikt in de volgende delen van het kledingstuk:

• KleurA: motief Rnd 1.

• KleurB: motief Rnd 2, 4.

• KleurC: motief Rnd 3, 6, 7, hoofdkleur, boordjes, veters.

• KleurD: motief Rnd 5, 8-10, kleuraccent.

Afmetingen:

• Eén maat, past de meeste mensen. Zowel het vest als de trui zijn 126cm en gemaakt met Scheepjes Whirl/ Whirlette garen, 132cm gemaakt met Cotton 8 of Our Tribe garen, en 138 cm gemaakt met Bamboo soft garen of met Cotton 8 en Our Tribe garen, maar met een grotere haaknaald. Over-sized vest/ trui past het beste voor maten M-2X / 90-120cm.

• Model is maat M/ 90cm borst, 95cm heupen, 168cm lengte en draagt maat 132cm gemaakt met Cotton 8.

Stekenverhouding / Draadspanning:

Met Whirl and Whirlette (Cotton 8 en Our Tribe, Bamboo Soft) garen:

• Motief zijde: 10.5 (11, 11.5) cm.

• Block Steek: 7.5 blocks (30 dc) x 8 blocks (16 rijen): motief zijde x motief zijde.

• Controleer de stekenverhouding van de block steek na het voltooien van de motieven.
