Yarn:

• Fingering/ 4ply weight yarn such as Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 100g/ 455m/ 497.6yds) and/ Or Scheepjes Whirl (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 215-225g/ 1000m/ 1094yds)

Pillow:

• Yarn1 (dark): 120g

• Yarn2 (light): 107g (includes 100g for body and 7g for whiskers and reflection in the eye)

• Yarn3 (optional; for nose and eyes): 3g (for nose), 5g (for eyes)

• 9cm x 76cm/ 3 ½'' x 30'' (bag width x 2 + 4cm/ 1 ½'') piece of buckram (very stiff but thin backing for hats and bags) or Pellon 70 Peltex Sew-In Ultra Firm Stabilizer to reinforce the upper edge

• If making a bottom: 24cm x 10cm/ 4'' x 9 ½'' (bag bottom size – 2cm/ ¾'' from each side) piece of plastic canvas to reinforce the bottom
