Crochet hooks:

• 3.75mm for hat sizes 50, 54, 56, 4.25mm for hat sizes 56, 60 and for all sizes cowl or size to obtain gauge.

Recommended materials:

• Worsted weight yarn such as:

• Patons Classic Wool Worsted (#4 – worsted weight, 100% wool, 100 g / 3.5 oz / 192 m / 210 yards) - 2 balls in Grey Mix color and 1 ball in Winter White color.

• Tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Sizes:

• Hat: 50 (54, 56, 60) cm / 19 5/8 (21 ¼, 22, 23 5/8)'' head circumference; 19.5 (21.5, 23.5, 24.5) cm / 7 5/8 (8 7/16, 9 ¼, 9 5/8)'' deep.

• Cowl: 50 (54, 56, 60) cm / 19 5/8 (21 ¼, 22, 23 5/8)'' circumference; 16 (17, 17.5, 18.5) cm / 6 ¼ (6 5/8, 6 7/8, 7 ¼)'' wide.

• Little amount of polyester fiberfill to fill up pom-pom.

• Instructions are given in English language, American crochet terminology.

Gauge:

• Motif side is 12 (13, 13.5, 14.5) cm / 4 11/16 (5 1/8, 5 ¼, 5 11/16)'' for sizes 50 (54, 56, 60). There is 2 cm negative ease

• Double Crochet Stitch: 10 sts x 4 rows swatch = 5.7 cm x 5.2 cm (2 ¼'' x 2''), made with 3.75 mm hook; = 6 cm x 5.5 cm (2 3/8'' x 2 1/8''), made with 4.25 mm hook

• Rib Stitch (FPdc, BPdc) made with 3.75 mm hook: 3 rows = 2 cm (3/4'')

• Take time to check gauge! Make sure to obtain gauge for motifs!
